Update on Boys Town Campus Redevelopment

Urbanturf DC has an update on the redevelopment of the Boys Town campus at 4801 Sargent Road NE. The site is supposed to be redeveloped with 166 semi-detached homes. Apparently, developer Urban Atlantic has run into an issue with the zoning regulations regarding subdivisions and public access easements, so they have applied for a text amendment to the regulations. Check out the article for an understanding of what is going on.

The case number is 26-09. The Zoning Commission will consider the matter at a meeting on October 29, 2026.
