From DC Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR)

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that Riggs and South Dakota Park (Corner of Riggs Road NE and South Dakota Ave NE) will close to the public starting Monday, August 17, 2026, for park renovations. Construction is scheduled to be completed in late fall/early winter 2026.
