Urbanturf DC has an update on the redevelopment of the Boys Town campus at 4801 Sargent Road NE. The site is supposed to be redeveloped with 166 semi-detached homes. Apparently, developer Urban Atlantic has run into an issue with the zoning regulations regarding subdivisions and public access easements, so they have applied for a text amendment to the regulations. The case number is 26-09. The Zoning Commission will consider the matter at a meeting on October 29, 2026.
