Stop by Explore! Fort Totten for a special Art All Night preview. Kids and families can experiment with clay, paint tiles, and try out hands-on maker activities in the Explore! community pop-up space.

This pop-up is part of the Kids’ Maker Series, designed to spark creativity and community connection.

  1. These events are great – but one day notice? How would anyone otherwise know, plan, and be able to attend these events?

    This is totally directed at Cafritz Foundation. Do better with your outreach and engagement.

    Unless this is primarily for the residents of the Modern at Art Place apartments…

  2. Hi there, I’ve definitely let them know that marketing needs to be much better with the notice. I think it will get better now that things are a bit more formalized with the pop up space (they recently put up decals and outdoor wrapping to make the space more visible).

    People should plan for the Friday series to continue indefinitely into the future and just have that on their calendar (eventually I will stop putting up individual posts about the Friday pop up events). I think Wednesday dates will be more consistent as well as they settle into a groove.

    They definitely want this to be a community space. I believe the survey is still open for feedback (the link expired and they reopened it).
