DDOT mitigation plans for SafeTrack red line single tracking beginning August 1
Metro SafeTrack Surge #6 begins August 1, 2016. Red line trains will continuously single track between Takoma and Silver Spring metro stations from August 1 to August 7. Residents are advised to use the green line to access downtown to mitigate crowding on red line trains.
