The KFC/Taco Bell located at 220 Riggs Road (corner of 3rd Street NE & Riggs Road NE) will be torn down along with the former Dakota Liquors building next door in order to build a brand new Chick-fil-A. The approxiately 3,900 square foot restaurant will have a dual-lane drive-through, 42 interior seats. and outdoor seating.

The restaurant is looking at a March/April 2022 opening date. The restaurant is actively hiring. Visit www.cfafttotten.com for more information.

The project is a matter-of-right project, but the developer will need a public space permit in order to close two curb cuts, one being the curb cut closest to the 3rd Street/Riggs Road NE intersection. ANC 4B plans to support the public space permit application and will also work with DDOT to implement certain pedestrian safety and transportation improvements in the area.
