Metro has replaced the faregates at Fort Totten Metro station with a new prototype, as Metro explains in this release. A lot has already been written about these new faregates. They certainly stop some folks from jumping over the gates. Now people can simply push the swing gates open and walk through the gap. Or some just walk through or jump over the emergency gate.
