I will attend and I hope that the Congresswoman will address these two issues: 1) What is the status of the pedestrian path across Fort Circle Park connecting Gallatin and Galloway Street just south of the Fort Totten Metro Station. This project was originally conceived in May 2014 but nothing significant has been accomplished; and 2) WMATA used soil from Spring Valley, an EPA Superfund Project, to cover the Greenline route from Fort Totten. The National Park Service (NPS) shared this information at an ANC5A meeting in October 2017. Has WMATA been held accountable for this heinous act? If so, what was done, and if not, why?
I look forward to hearing from the Congresswoman.
Robert, I can’t make to the meeting. If you get any answers, would you be willing to follow-up? Thanks! Eric
