UDC hosts its monthly Bertie Backus farm stand this Saturday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm, at UDC Backus (5171 South Dakota Avenue NE). Seasonal, local, and organically grown produce will be available for sale. Expected produce includes watermelon, tomatoes, eggplant, sweet peppers, beets, okra, string beans, summer squash, radishes, basil, Swiss chard, sage, oregeno, mustard greens, peppers, cucumbers and lettuce.
